Forced (Uboot) Method to flash the new firmware

Uboot method is generally using to update firmware forced in sunplus chipset based satellite recievers such as Openbox X5 , Z5 , A7G, A6, Aone , Azplay , Alphabox X4  Also Supporting on Solid receivers models 6033, 6024, 6141and 6150
 
How to Update?


ENSURE THAT THERE WILL BE NO POWER FAILURES WHILE DOING THIS

•  Rename the original firmware name to rom.bin (Eg: If its file nam is "A_ONE_Euro_Asia_AutoRoll_Powervu_160112".bin   rename it to "rom".bin)
• Copy the rom.bin file to USB Drive (root directory)
• Plug the USB Drive to reciever
• Power off the reciever

• press and hold any one key on front panel and turn on the reciever

                     Now the Reciever will Load data from the USB

• Release the key when showing erasing flash on the screen (will show a percentage bar 0 to 100% )

• Wait till erasing flash completes it will start updating flash

• After that updating flash will start automatically , At this time remove The USB and wait to complete the process (If the USB still connected, the the firmware some times keep updating again and again.so it will be better remove USB on this step  )

• Wait till reboots the Receiver automatically 

After restart box will be on new firmware !!!!!
