At least of a copy of firmware should be provided at internet. With boot loader . software must be open. Because there are many flaws in every software. So they should be open & changeable. None of the seller provide after sale service. So manufacturer must provide full softwares o. Internet so that buyer may handle his STB at his own. Every Android stb have many flawas buggy software for example running on hisilicon hi3796mv100 processor. Let the open developers modify such products.
Put all softwares of such stb over the internet. Otherwise no demand for such products will be in future.
